Commercial Real Estate Assistant

  • Location: Tukwila, WA

Segale Properties is seeking an experienced full-time Commercial Real Estate Assistant to join our team!  This position will assist the Senior Asset Manager with day-to-day contact and coordination with tenants, contractors, and vendors. In addition, this role will provide administrative support for our entire 10-person office.


  • Maintain service-oriented rapport with clients and tenants, both written and verbal (insurance certificates, maintenance records, construction coordination, protocol adherence, etc.)
  • Track and initiate action on key dates and milestones on all leases
  • Assist with preparation of tenant budgets
  • Tenant cost accounting and billing
  • Organization and storage of electronic and hard copy property records
  • Perform market research and retain in searchable electronic library
  • Maintain company website
  • Meeting preparation and hosting
  • Preparation of written correspondence and other documents
  • Answering 50% of incoming phone calls
  • Mobile phone administration and other general office projects
  • Software installation and liaison to outside IT vendor
  • Special event planning and execution (trainings, parties, etc.)


  • Minimum of (3) years of successful commercial real estate administrative experience
  • Demonstrated ability to understand leases and contracts; thorough understanding of real estate terms related to real property, title, land use, and environmental approvals
  • Experience with CC&R’s and Owner’s Associations
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Creative Cloud Apps
  • Proven understanding of software, computer setup, and networks
  • Proven ability and comfort with finding, learning, and using new software
  • Website administration experience
  • General understanding of project site development and building construction drawings
  • Experience with creating/using complex electronic filing systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong math skills that allow for accurate accounting
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business
